I have long dreamed of creating a community in Eretz Yisroel. I have dreamed about how beautiful it would be to take the energy, achdus and kedusha we have created together here in Baltimore and channel it to establish a sister kehilla in Eretz Yisroel. A number of months ago, I was approached about a new project in the Katamonim neighborhood in Yerushalayim.
This is a special opportunity to settle together in Yerushalayim and have a dedicated shul and a unique kehilla experience. While I will not personally be making aliyah at this time, we will have a dedicated rabbinic team in place to ensure a full-service, thriving kehilla, with shiurim, programming, and opportunities for growth and connection for all.
This kehilla is deeply personal to me. I look forward to watching it grow, flourish, and build something lasting together.”

At the center of Hachoshen will be a beautiful central shul, Bais Medrash and Social Hall, a true spiritual epicenter for the community. A place for daily tefillah, Torah learning, Shabbos and Yom Tov, gatherings, and all the vibrant moments of Jewish life.
